THE WHY
Every website has a story, and my team was tasked with telling it for this Eco-Luxury Resort, Playa Cativo. They wanted to capture the feel of the resort with no parent company branding involved, which meant custom design. They also needed the ability to purchase and book stays and excursions online. I managed the delivery of this project from mood boards to go-live. It involved a team of copywriters, designers, developers, and a lot of hours spent creating essentially two versions because they also needed this website in a second language!
THE HOW
I managed delivery end to end, from mood boards to go-live, leading a team of copywriters, designers, and developers through a fully custom build with no parent-company branding to guide decisions. I built a Gantt chart to track milestones across the full team and used it to keep everyone focused on the critical path, especially once the project doubled in scope to cover a second language. When requests threatened the timeline, I addressed scope creep directly by tying each new ask back to its impact on the launch date, which kept the project on track without stalling momentum.

THE RESULT
Delivered a fully custom, bilingual website with original branding and illustration, built from zero brand identity to a complete ecommerce platform supporting stays and excursion bookings.
